Welcome Mahboob Hossain

We are delighted to announce Mahboob Hossain has joined our Accounting Division where he will work alongside John Linnett, adding further strength to our expanding consultancy.

Qualified in Commerce (Accounting and Finance), Mahboob had previously worked with two second tier firms before making the transition to TEAM. He brings a wealth of accounting knowledge, fully understands audit, business services and tax advisory practices from end to end.

Mahboob has a heart for helping others and loves seeing candidates grow and develop in their careers. He believes in a career, not just a job, where a long-term placement and a perfect match is critical and worth the wait.

Even though he is never lost for words, Mahboob listens, as he is very eager to get to know his candidates with a view to securing the very best position for their career.

OUR SUCCESS WITH SEEK IS ONLY 15%

If you are relying on Seek to fill your accounting positions then in our experience you only have a 15% chance of filling the role!

We monitor closely our return on advertising costs to actual placements and we found, in the first nine months of 2010, that our Seek advertising was only responsible for 15% of the positions we filled. Clearly if you only use one media, your chances of success are limited.

We use three different sites, various print media, a 21 year old database and a wide range of professional contacts to fill positions.

All of which increases the possibilities of filling the role from a wider pool of candidates and not just active job seekers searching on electronic job boards.

So, if you are having difficulties filling an accounting role, give us a call to increase your percentage of filling it.

Australian Achiever Awards 2010

TEAM Executive Consultants have again participated in the Australian Achiever Awards. Following our wins in 2007 and 2002, as Melbourne's best Employment, Training and Consultancy Service, we have again achieved an outstanding result by gaining 98.31% and receiving a Highly Recommended rating.

We are of course disappointed we did not win this year but we are proud our same high standards have continued.

The Awards are given following discussions between the judges and clients, where our clients are asked to rank our performance across a range of subjective criteria.
