The Role
This full-time position is ideal for an experienced Accountant to join a manufacturing business. The successful applicant will bring with them several years of accounting experience, enabling them to seamlessly tackle various financial tasks, including payroll and office admin.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Oversee Payroll (experience with QuickBooks preferred)
- Prepare monthly Profit & Loss statements
- Conduct bank reconciliations and manage day-to-day banking
- Maintain accurate trial balance and financial records
- Provide general financial support to the management team
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in accounting, with strong knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll
- Ability to prepare accurate monthly P&L and other financial reports
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a family-run business environment is a plus
