Business Development Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems

THE ROLE:

  • Is for an experienced BDM – Battery Energy Storage Systems Specialist with knowledge of Channel Marketing development to join them on a full time permanent basis working either remotely or from their Melbourne south eastern offices.
  • Responsible for market channel development and sales of Battery Energy Storage System products.
  • Formulate, implement and complete the company’s product annual sales plan and target.
  • Responsible for all quotations, contract negotiations and customer liaison.
  • Customer facing and extensive travel to customers sites.
  • Tender preparation.
  • Develop new sales channels and bring in new customers.
  • Daily reporting of new customer interaction via CRM system.
  • Have strong skills set and knowledge of Energy Storage System products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A Master / Bachelor degree in either Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or Science.
  • Minimum of 5 years Australian experience in Business Development, Account Management or Sales Management on BESS product and industry.
  • A good understanding of solar power, battery systems, power systems or power electronics.
  • MS Office (Power Point/ Excel / Word)
  • Fluent in English speaking, writing and reading.
  • Clean drivers licence.
