THE CLIENT:
Has been established for over 50 years in manufacturing and supplying high quality HVAC-R products and more recently Solar Powered Refrigerated Containers.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include developing and driving a diverse engineering department and supporting the team members with the design and manufacturing of solar power refrigerated containers, industrial coolers, chillers, vacuum plant equipment.
Responsible for overseeing tenders and presentations and ensuring all contracts are accurate.
Design of HVAC-R systems, industrial cooling systems, dryer systems and Industrial systems.
Maintain a good clean and safe working environment and facilities.
Train and mentor team members and oversee delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Work closely with Purchasing Manager to source cost effectively.
Drive the team and oversee delivery of project, processes to continuous improvement.
Managing a team of Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration Engineers
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, and Solar Power Systems.
- Good all round knowledge of HVAC-R and Refrigeration containers / systems
- Design experience using Solid works for Solar solution designs
- To listen to Electrical engineers and discuss power solutions
- Electrical system overview capability would be good.
- Strong Project Management team leadership.
