THE COMPANY:
- Our client is an Australian owned company that has been established for over 30 years and their reputation is second to none when it comes to quality products and service.
- They represent a world leader in high performance small DC drive (Microdrives) solutions from Europe and the products are used within the medical, defence and OEM sectors.
THE ROLE:
- Reporting to the Engineering Manager will include:
- Working with engineering staff in preparation of estimates and preparing designs for the manufacturing of various products.
- Interact with stakeholders, sales team, suppliers and contractors.
- Liaise with shop floor personnel so to understand the process of manufacturing parts.
- Create drawings using SOLIDWORKS!
- Extensive use of an ERP system creating job travellers.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Ideally a degree or diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic engineering.
- Sound manufacturing experience of fabrication and sheet metal.
- Must have Microsoft Office especially Excel
- Knowledge of ISO 9001.
- Have help similar role previously
YOU:
- Are from the manufacturing sector
- Are not a clock watcher
- Enjoy a team environment.
- Have great communications skills.
- Need to have Solidworks experience
