FINANCE MANAGER (PART-TIME)

THE FIRM

A government supported and non-profit aged care facility located in the Bayside area. Seeking a skilled Finance Manager to oversee their financial operations.

THE ROLE

Duties will include:

  • Managing all daily financial and human resource activities. including functions, systems, payroll, and reporting.
  • Developing and monitoring budgets and plans.
  • Improving financial performance.
  • Providing strategic guidance to senior leadership team.
  • Improving operational performance.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

 

QUALIFICATION

  • Over 5 years’ experience in a senior management role, focusing on the expansion of commercial and aged care operations is a MUST.
  • Ideally, CA or CPA qualified.
  • Extensive experience using CIM software.
  • Strong understanding of the aged care sector, and current issues affecting the service system and community.
  • Experience working with the Board, including generating monthly reports and participating in Board and sub-committee meetings.
  • Proven leadership experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial management, business skills, and strategic planning, with proven experience in effective risk management and a comprehensive understanding of government funding.
