THE FIRM
A well established boutique law firm, specialists in property and mortgage work, providing legal support to commercial lenders and small developer clients.
THE ROLE
- Act for vendor pre and post registration of plan of subdivision with regards to sale of residential land lots.
- Mortgage sale files
- Preparing contracts of sale, S32 Vendor Statements, S27s.
- Statements of Adjustments and Settlement Statements.
- LTO SRO and DOL documents and procedures.
- Experience with subdivisions and lodging plan of subdivision.
- Familiarity with the Sale of Land Act, Transfer of Land Act with an understanding of GST/Stamp Duty/Lax Tax legislation regarding property transactions.
- Mortgage experience – focus on Commercial Lending including drafting and preparing mortgage documents.
- Liaising with solicitors, borrowers, brokers and managing the file from end to end.

YOU
- Previous experience in a similar role is a must. Ideally a Licensed Conveyancer.
- Stamping and Duties Online.
- Experience in subdivisions and lodging POS.
- Familiar with all aspects of residential and commercial transactions from the point of initial instruction through to settlement, full carriage of files.
- Able to work autonomously and highly organised.
- Knowledge of legal software is required; i.e. PEXA, DOL, MS Office.
- Strong communication skills are also a prerequisite as this role will see a high level of client interaction.
- Ability to work autonomously.
