Sales Representative – Steam Boilers

THE COMPANY:

  •  Our client has been established for over 35 years manufacturing steam boilers, steam generators and ancillary equipment.
  • They have full order books and are fortunate to be in the position of requiring additional staff.

THE ROLE:

  • The need is for an experienced Sales Representative to join them on a full time permanent basis.
  • To maintain existing client base and to generate new business and revenue growth.
  • Carry out both internal and external sales by conducting presentations either face to face or digitally.
  • Identifying the clients needs and able to interpret plans and drawings so to provide the best product to suit the clients needs.
  • Prepare and present winning tenders and quotes every time.
  • To understand the clients needs regarding steam boilers.
  • Extensive use of CRM systems and MS office.
  • Encourage the customer to enter into service contracts for their products.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Ideally tertiary or trade qualifications of  steam boilers or HVAC/Plumbing.
  • 3 – 5 years in a sales capacity of steam boilers/generators and service agreements.
  • Thorough experience of writing tenders, quotes and  technical reports.
  • Travel as and when required.
  • Confident  in working independently.
  • A hunter!
  • Not a clock watcher!
  • Have a great “can do” attitude!
