Senior Accountant – BS/Tax

• Parkville location
• Salary range $100K – $120K
• Move to Manage role

This chartered accounting firm has interstate offices and this role reports directly to a Partner. This role offers opportunity to grow in to Manager position in the near future.

DUTIES:

• Prepare various types of tax returns.
• Complete full financial accounts.
• Responsible with junior staff for $500K of fees.
• Establish work schedules.
• Advise, direct and mentor junior staff.
• Identify client’s needs and opportunity.
• Draft reports for client.

YOU:

• Are CA/CPA with 5+ years’ experience in local accounting firms.
• Technically strong in tax and accounting matters.
• Can develop deeper skills in technical issues.
• Have a team player attitude and can work in a team.
• Demonstrate high energy levels and enthusiasm.
• Can develop effective client relationships.
• Happy to use Xero and ideally FYI.
