Team leader – MiG Immediate start!

• Salary commensurate with experience.
• The opportunity to be hands on.
• Lead a team of 20 tradespeople.

• The client has been established for 75 years in the manufacture of various cylinders and pressure vessels.
• There is now a need for a Team Leader who is MIG qualified to be hands on and extensive experience of MIG welding.

You will be responsible for the safety of the production team for a variety of  duties.

• Oversee the production plans for all assigned work in different areas.
• Prioritise all work and able to follow up on the all works progress.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure safety rules are observed.
• Ensure all MIG welding and other works is completed on time and accurate.
• Have a thorough understanding of assembly and MIG welding processes.
• Lead a team of up to 20 personnel.
• Confident in reading and interpreting drawings and plans.
• Good knowledge of production and sales orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Have a trade background.
• Knowledge of assembly and inspection.
• Competent in report writing.
• Hold a current MIG Ticket

This is a busy environment and at times you will be required to be hands on yourself.
