THE COMPANY:
- An European well established organisation who has been in Australia for over 40 years are involved with the importation, warehousing, processing and sales of high performance special alloy metal products.
- Due to retirement there is an opening for a qualified warehouse manager / Waterjet Cutting Machine Operator to join them on a full time permanent basis.
THE ROLE:
- Reporting to the MD you have a dual role of looking after the warehouse and all paperwork, delivery of goods, despatch of goods, liaise with sub contractors, training of warehouse staff, fork lift driving as required and where required involved with some heavy lifting up to 20 kilos.
- Responsible for all WH&S policies and procedures.
- Extensive use of Microsoft and techni waterjet software.
- Inventory management – storage, unpack and stock take.
- General warehouse maintenance.
- Machine operations and maintenance
- Able to read and interpret drawings and plans.
- Extensive use of techni waterjet cutting machines.
- Extensive use of power tools.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive use of waterjet cutting machines ideally techni.
- Training could be possible in machine cutting as long as you are from the metal processing industry
- Qualifications in warehouse management.
- licence Fork Lift Licence (LF)
- Not a clock watcher
- Monday to Friday 0730 – 4pm
