The Company:
For over 45 years the client has successfully provided specific organisations with specialised fuel and contamination control equipment. They offer consultation covering design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of scientific and laboratory equipment to a variety of industries.
The Role:
- Reporting to the General Manager you will be involved with the planning, implementing and supervising assignments throughout Australia and the Pacific region.
- Projects could take several months from start to finish involving large teams of stakeholders.
- You will be responsible for managing all contracts, lead the interaction with customers, contractor architects and consultants.
- Ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
- There will be a lot of internal interaction with installation, project management, production scheduling and liasion with suppliers.
- Responsible for managing the project budget and present monthly financial reports.
- Regular site checks and close contact with contractors and suppliers.
- Oversee all OH&S issues and recommend changes if required.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Ideally tertiary qualifications in Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering.
- Tertiary qualification – PMP would be great!
- General laboratory HVAC / Ventilation systems.
- Basic Electrical and plumbing knowledge.
- AutoCAD, Solidworks and M1 ERP
- Heat, fume and dust ventilation
You:
- Are not a clock watcher.
- Are fully customer focused.
- Can interact with customers and colleagues easily.
- Are able to travel as and when required.
