Sales Engineer – Mining – Pumps

  • Has been established  since 1956 with over 200 outlets worldwide. They are world leaders involved with the distribution of peristatic pumps for a the Mining industry.


  • Reports to the Sales Manager to   prepare  weekly report  plus progress against the key actions.
  • Reports against progress.
  • Out and about selling at all levels to clients using positive displacement pumps within the Mining sector.
  • Confident in identifying clients needs and being able to advise on sizes of pumps best suited to the clients.
  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Organize field trials as required.
  • Keep updated with competitors range of pumps and prices.
  • Maintain CRM up to date.
  • Travel throughout WA to service current clients and expand the client database.
  • Attend Expo’s as required.


  • Experience in process engineering.
  • Ideally 3 – 5 years  experience in mining sales.
  • Knowledge and understanding of displacement pumps would be good.
  • Mechanical/technical sales .
  • Skilled negotiator in sales.
  • Strategic planning skilled.
  • Confident in using Microsoft Office.
  • various CRM systems.
  • Conduct PowerPoint Presentations
